AI-Governance
CHEMISTREE is actively committed to shaping a responsible regulatory framework for artificial intelligence. The focus is on our #goodAI – an AI that is ethically fair, transparent and human-centered. As a company specializing in the development of fair and traceable matching technologies, CHEMISTREE contributes its expertise to various regulatory processes in order to establish practical and sustainable standards.
CHEMISTREE has won the German Excellence Award twice with its customer projects and is a shortlisted nominee for the CDR Award.

An important part of this work is cooperation with political institutions, standardization organizations and expert groups in order to shape AI governance in such a way that it promotes innovation, upholds social values and strengthens trust in AI systems.

Standardization roadmap AI
Rosmarie Steininger, CEO of CHEMISTREE, helped shape the development of the DIN standardization roadmap AI as an expert and as head of the “socio-technical systems” working group. This roadmap serves as a guideline for the standardization of artificial intelligence in Germany and Europe. It defines technical, ethical and regulatory requirements for AI systems and aims to create practical standards that take into account both the protection of users and the innovative strength of the economy.

AI strategy of the federal government
Rosmarie Steininger is also contributing her expertise to the German government’s AI strategy, which focuses on a “regulatory framework for human-centered AI”. This initiative aims to establish Germany as a leading location for trustworthy AI and at the same time reconcile social and economic interests.
CHEMISTREE sees AI governance as a decisive factor for the sustainable development of AI technologies. By actively participating in standardization, legislative and strategic processes, the company helps to ensure that AI is used responsibly, fairly and in a forward-looking manner.
